Pro-Diluvian: Understanding Scoped-Flooding for Content Discovery in Information-Centric Networking

The paper titled “Pro-Diluvian: Understanding Scoped-Flooding for Content Discovery in Information-Centric Networking” got accepted by ACM ICN 2015, in San Francisco, USA. The authors of the paper are Liang Wang, Suzan Bayhan, Jörg Ott, Jussi Kangasharju, Arjuna Sathiaseelan and Jon Crowcroft. In the paper, they investigated scoped-flooding strategies on two graph models with rigorous analysis and extensively evaluated in various realistic network settings.

The paper explores some ideas and backs up our arguments on the selection of dissemination strategies, which were presented in the previous “SCANDEX” paper. This line of research can make some initial contributions to both RIFE and UMobile projects, and sheds light on our future direction in the project.
