The RIFE consortium will have a strong presence at the ACM DEV 2015

The RIFE consortium will have a strong presence at the forthcoming ACM DEV 2015 conference and the colocated IRTF GAIA workshop in London.

  • Adisorn Lertsinsrubtavee from UCAM will be talking about our recent deployment of a community wireless network in Thailand and the results that show some motivation for localising content/services (this is a joint work with EC H2020 UMobile project).
  • Graham Peters from Avanti will be talking about satellite broadband in general and will also talk about our RIFE project.
  • Dirk Trossen from InterDigital will be talking about RIFE in general and will demo the IPoverICN solution.
  • AndrĂ©s Arcia Moret from UCAM will demo our Zebra RFO spectrum visualisation platform.
  • Liang Wang from UCAM will be demonstrating our semantic recommendation system and showcase an intelligent contextual caching solution for caching content and services at the edge (this is a joint work with the UMobile project).

We will also have two posters at DEV:

  • Andres Arcia Moret will present the Octopus network monitoring platform.
  • Roger Baig will present work related to community clouds.
