In this video, Dirk Trossen discusses recently started EU efforts, most notably POINT and RIFE, that utilize information-centric networking (ICN) concepts for the development of a flexible routing platform, providing increased network utilization and reduced latency. Such platform is a key enabler for the overall RIFE architecture and its deployments within the Guifi.net trial test bed.
